Altitude: 1800 - 2100 masl
Taste Notes: Caramel, Plum Jam, OrangeBest Brewed: Best as an espresso based drink, or a stronger filter coffee.
Roaster Notes: We are proud to showcase this as our delicious house espresso from Colombia! As an espresso, you get some nice notes of caramel and orange. In milk, the caramel is enhanced even more with more fruitier notes like plum jam. Try me with oat milk too - it's a little bit like a plum crumble!
Colombia - Tablón de Gomez
Produced by small holders from Tablón de Gomez, Nariño. This small
municipality is 2 hours drive away from Buesaco, Nariño, where some
of the most unique micro-lots from Nariño are produced. The region
is characterised by its mountainous topography. Its cold climate is perfect for a slow ripening of the cherry that leads to a sweet coffee.
It rains frequently in this region so coffees need an average of 20 to
25 days to dry.
The farmers that Cofinet work with belong to the Terra association and Cafes Especiales de Nariño Cooperative.
